At the end of the special “Inherited Soul” event that aired on April 4th, it was revealed that Stone Ocean – the sixth part of the legendary JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series – would finally get its own anime adaptation! Fans had been waiting close to two years since the end of Golden Wind for such an announcement, and with that snazzy concept art and the news that up-and-coming voice actress/JoJo superfan Fairouz Ai would be voicing Jolyne, the hype train quickly reached terminal velocity. Kemono Jihen Review – Cool Concept, But Frustratingly Forgettable

Kemono Jihen is a supernatural mystery story set in modern-day Tokyo. It follows the exploits of the Inugami Detective Agency, a secretive group populated by kemono (yokai/demons that can take human forms) who investigate strange happenings related to rogue members of their own species. Their newest member is Kabane, a half-kemono who possesses a powerful stone called a “life stone” and desperately wants to find his missing parents who left it with him. It sounds like a neat little concept on paper, but does this anime do anything new and exciting that you can’t find elsewhere? Let’s find out!

Jujutsu Kaisen Review – A Gritty Shounen with Style and Substance

Yuuji is just an average occult-obsessed teen, but when he unwittingly becomes the vessel for an ancient Cursed Spirit named Ryoumen Sukuna, he plunges face-first into the secretive world of jujutsu sorcerers. Jujutsu Kaisen is one of Weekly Shounen Jump’s biggest properties right now, so its anime adaptation certainly has a lot to live up to. But does it capture the same melancholy atmosphere that its premise promises and its source material is acclaimed for perfecting? Let’s take a closer look and see!

With vaccines rolling out en masse, it’s finally time to think about going to anime conventions again! But even if it’s safe to be out in public, it’s probably still a good idea to wear a mask at these kinds of crowded, chaotic events to protect those who haven’t received the vaccine yet (and to avoid getting con plague). 5 Best Anime Himbos - The Airheaded Heroes We Can't Help But Love

We’re big fans of the term “himbo” – derived from “bimbo”, it describes a male character who’s attractive (muscular, bishounen, or otherwise), but not exactly the sharpest katana at the anime convention. Even though these airheaded heroes are often capable of saving the day when it counts, their usual demeanor is closer to Metro Man than Megamind, if you catch our drift. Still, we just can’t help but love them. Here are the five best anime himbos!
